Cultivating Connection Through Inclusive Teaching and Everyday Practice.
About this Event

How do we create learning environments where every student feels seen, valued, and included? Culturally responsive instruction and a strong sense of safety and belonging help students connect with learning, one another, and the world around them.

Join Dr. Kai Mathews, founder of The Liberatory Classroom, for an interactive day of exploration, immersive simulations, and collaborative problem-solving. Together, we’ll explore inclusive teaching practices, navigate real-world classroom dilemmas, and consider how our everyday choices can strengthen relationships, foster belonging, and create meaningful learning experiences for all students.

Come ready to play, reflect, connect, and discover new possibilities for your classroom and school community!

Substitute coverage is available through the 21CSLA grant. To learn more or request funding support, please contact Izzy Meo-Willis, Administrative Assistant, at [email protected].
