9th Annual Georgia Shorts Film Festival 2026

The Georgia Shorts Film Festival is a premier theatrical event dedicated to showcasing independent films across all genres.
We are honored to kick off this year's festival on Friday, June 19th at 6 PM, with an exclusive Juneteenth Screening. This opening ceremony is dedicated to celebrating a select group of standout films by incredible filmmakers of color. This is a celebration of heritage, excellence, and the power of diverse storytelling in the heart of Atlanta. For this day, we are also thrilled to welcome crossover beatboxer, actor, and voice-over artist Steven “HeaveN” Cantor — aka HeaveN Beatbox — as the official host of this year’s festival!
Whether you’re here for the Red Carpet ceremonies, the Industry Panels, or to see your own work on the big screen, this is the event of the season for the Atlanta indie community.
