About this Event
The Arvada Stake is partnering with Rose Roots Community Garden on garden projects Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 8412 W Alkire, 80005 from 8 AM till 11:30 AM. Gardeners and members will combine maintenance and sustainability efforts to support the garden as it grows! Rose Roots provides food for Arvada's Veggie Van, which brings fresh, organic produce to underserved people in our community. Our combined efforts will provide support for maintenance and special project needs.
The garden is operated on land granted by the City of Arvada. They do an amazing job providing the community with many opportunities to work and grow together.
After completing the projects, our Rose Roots Garden friends will join us to support the city's 150 Tables Across Colorado/Arvada initiative. This event extends the opportunity to share a meal with our new friends, building on the friendships that strengthen our community. it'll be a great day! The BBQ will be at the Alkire Pavillion located at 12295 W 72nd Ave, Arvada 80005 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Memories are sure to be made this day!
