4-H STEM Camp - 'Exploring the New Frontiers of Space'
About this Event
- Date: Friday, July 17th
- Time: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Location: Haywood County Extension Office (589 Raccoon Rd. Waynesville)
- Ages: 8-12
- All materials and snacks are provided!
Camp Goals:
- We will learn about the planets with virtual reality goggles
- We will learn about galaxies and how telescopes work
- We will learn about the basics of flight
- We will make basic gliders like the space shuttle
- We will have an egg drop like the Artemis splashdown
- We will make paper rockets to launch in the parking lot
