Join us for a cool camp where we explore all about planets, galaxies, astronauts, and more with hands-on activities and virtual reality!
About this Event

  • Location: Haywood County Extension Office (589 Raccoon Rd. Waynesville)
  • Ages: 8-12
  • All materials and snacks are provided!


Camp Goals:

  1. We will learn about the planets with virtual reality goggles
  2. We will learn about galaxies and how telescopes work
  3. We will learn about the basics of flight
  4. We will make basic gliders like the space shuttle
  5. We will have an egg drop like the Artemis splashdown
  6. We will make paper rockets to launch in the parking lot
