4-H STEM Camp - 'All About Electricity'
About this Event
- Date: Thursday, July 16th
- Time: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Location: Haywood County Extension Office (589 Raccoon Rd. Waynesville)
- Ages: 10+ (youth aged 10-18)
- All materials and snacks provided!
Camp Goals:
- We will learn about the basics of electricity
- We will learn about simple circuits, including switches
- We will learn about electrical parts including LEDs, resistors, and more
- We will make basic electric projects with copper tape and other materials
- We will work on basic soldering skills with an actual circuit board
