3D Lettering Design with Tinkercad
Ages 6–12

In 3D Lettering Design with Tinkercad, students explore creativity and digital design by creating personalized 3D letters, names, words, monograms, and custom signs using Tinkercad. Through fun, hands-on activities, students learn the fundamentals of 3D modeling, including shape creation, text design, scaling, alignment, and customization.

Participants will discover how designers, artists, and engineers use computer-aided design (CAD) tools to create products, jewelry, signs, decorative objects, and custom pieces for 3D printing. Students can transform their names and designs into creative projects such as rings, jewelry pieces, room signs, desk nameplates, wall art, and interior design decorations.

Throughout the workshop, students will develop spatial reasoning, problem-solving skills, and creative confidence while bringing their ideas to life in a three-dimensional digital environment.

What Students Will Learn

Final Project

Students will design and create a personalized 3D project, such as a custom ring, jewelry piece, nameplate, decorative sign, wall decoration, or interior design accessory that demonstrates their creativity and mastery of Tinkercad's design tools.

Registration Requirement

This program is open to students ages 6–12.

The only requirement to participate is obtaining a Member Card. Both the student and a parent/guardian must complete the Member Card registration using the link below before attending the workshop.
