BEACHES YOU WILL SEE ON ROUTE
#########################
On route some high-lights may be the following:
Let Paddle Experience take you to explore the beautiful stretch of Majestic Coastline from Three Anchor Bay to Clifton 4th Beach. This route will offer you a completely unique vantage point of the following beaches on route that include the following as listed below.
Rocklands Beach. Located just off the Sea Point's promenade you'll find some steps which lead onto secluded Rocklands Beach.
Milton Beach. It is a sandy beach with a large seawater tidal pool which separates the beach from the sea by a rocky shelf.
Brokenbath Beach. Broken Bath Beach is one seven Sea Point Beaches running along the Sea Point Promenade located nearest to the Pavilion public swimming baths. It housed the first bathing pools in Sea Point in the late 18th century. These baths were broken by another big storm and bathers moved elsewhere.
Queen's Beach. Queens Beach in Sea Point Cape Town (Atlantic Seaboard) is a wind-protected beach that is ideal for sunbathing swimming and rock-pool exploration. Queen’s Beach is named after the Queen’s Hotel that was built nearby in 1887.
Saunders' Rocks Beach. Saunders Rock Beach is a small scenic beach in Sea Point that’s best known for its large rockpool. It’s one of the most popular places to watch the sunset in the summer and its convenient location means that lots of locals head here on warm evenings for post-work swims and picnics. Saunders Rock Beach sits at the southern end of the promenade right where Sea Point meets Bantry Bay.
Clifton 1st Beach. Clifton First Beach is a lovely beach tucked away from the busy crowds in the prestigious suburb of Clifton along Cape Town's Atlantic Seaboard. Clifton 1st is probably the quietest of all four beaches and also the hardest to reach. Clifton 1st beach is a dog- and family-friendly beach.
Clifton 2nd Beach. Clifton Second is a lovely stretch of beach along Cape Town's Atlantic Seaboard. This beach is a popular spot for students and beach sport enthusiasts
Clifton 3rd Beach. Clifton Third is a lovely beach located just around the corner from the more famous Clifton Fourth Beach along Cape Town’s Atlantic Seaboard in the Western Cape. It is quite a lot smaller and is suitable for people who appreciate a little more privacy as it’s not nearly as busy as its neighbour.
Clifton 4th Beach. Clifton 4th beach has been awarded prestigious Blue Flag status and is the most popular and busiest of the four; lined by volleyball nets frisbee-throwers and sunbathers. There are ablution facilities outdoor showers and a kiosk with snacks. Umbrellas and sun loungers are available for hire and local traders walk the beach with ice lollies and cool drinks for sale.
