Session 1 led by a CPA will discuss valuing your business, the methods one might consider and the dollars and sense behind it.
Session 2 led by an attorney will walk you through your options, key considerations for a smooth transition, and practical steps you can take in the interim—even if you’re short on time.
Session 3 led by the SBA will bring us around to the business financing topic.
Trinity Valley SBDC supports entrepreneur and existing business. We provide guidance for those considering an acquisition or general financing for lender expectations and the documents they will need to secure financing to structure a loan.

About our speakers:
Michael Corley, MBA, CPA helps businesses optimize processes around financial reporting. As his title indicates, accounting is his expertise and background also includes auditor. An entrepreneur himself, he has also evaluated business for acquisition and will share insights on unlocking the dollars and sense.
Tisha Dodge, Dodge Legal, UTA Arlington Professor & Attorney, and speaker at America's SBDC National Conference brings strategic guidance to business owners for succession planning.
We are honored to have Bridget Moon, Economic Development Specialist/Veterans Business Development Officer/SCORE Liaison of the Dallas/Fort Worth District Office, U.S. Small Business Administration with us for this event. Bridget brings 28 years of experience with the SBA as well as her own entrepreneurial journey to speak from.
