2nd Annual Wearing Joy Fashion Show

Join us for the Second Annual Wearing Joy Upcycle Fashion Show. This event will feature local designers, including Evan Tomczyk and intended to be family friendly and inclusive. You will have the option of purchasing many of the wearable items and other artistic donations at the silent auction.

Appetizers by Northern Waters Smokehaus, cupckakes by Superior Sweets, and mocktails by Lynn.

This is our second fundraiser to support Hope Haven Peer Respite which is potentially opening in Superior January 2025 by NAMI Lake Superior South Shore (NAMI LSSS), after a year of hard work. Their home will contribute to addressing a critically unmet need for mental health crisis stabilization in NW Wisconsin. This will be a voluntary, short-term program in a 4-bedroom home for persons experiencing mental health crises who are not at imminent risk of harming themselves or others and identified by the US Substance Abuse and Mental Health Association (SAMHSA) as best practice.

NAMI LSSS is well-equipped to run and support this home and have been leading peer-driven mental health support services over the past few years.
