Yoga Space & Udara are pleased to welcome back International Yin Yoga Teacher Trainer Melanie McLaughlin, to present a two day exploration of myofascial release techniques, fascia studies and YIN. Join us February 15th and 16th ~ 2025 for this 20hr two day workshop.YA and Yacep approved and certified.
Open to Everyone ....
All teachers of Yin yoga and any yoga style, movement modalities, fitness (as an added teaching tool) and to avid students wishing to immerse themselves in new techniques and deeper knowledge.
Particularly useful for those that have already taken the 50hr Yin Training with Mel or others, however not compulsory.
ABOUT MEL
Mel has been passionate about a yin-style practice for over 15 years. In 2012 Mel formalized her Yin Yoga training with Paul Grilley through his 200-hour Teacher Training program in the USA, then returned for ongoing hours and training.
Her studies continue with experts in Fascia /TCM and movement. She now shares this wealth of experience, insight and expertise internationally through her very own Yoga Alliance/YACEP recognized 100/50 and 20hr Yin Yoga Teacher Training courses. CONTENT includes but not limited to
* How to use different techniques and various equipment to release and nourish fascia (MFR)
* Fascia theory, research and study
* Acu pressure points/trigger points in relation to MFR and their common uses/benefits physically and energetically
* Daily 90 min Yin Master class AM and 60 min PM class integrating our daily study into somatic memory/application both days
* Practical applications of the study in groups
* Yin and MFR sequences for continued use and/or teaching tools
A set of two MFR balls, your manual and a certificate are included (if you have more MFR balls please bring them along)
Please bring your own yoga mat (a block and a foam roller is also recommended but not required)
Bring your water bottle and wear layers
PRE-REQUISITES
If you wish to teach Yin yoga/MFR as a yoga teacher you will need to have successfully completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training course prior to commencing this training. If you are a qualified movement specialist (PT/fitness/pilates/dance etc) you will be able to integrate these MF releases into your current modality.
If you are not a yoga teacher you're welcome to join us for your own personal experience.
All participants MUST complete a 2 hr homework piece to finalize the 20hrs of certification.
RECOGNITION
This training is recognised by Yoga Australia & Yoga Alliance/YACEP for Continuing hours and Professional Development (CPD) points.

PRICING & CONDITIONS
Early Bird Price: $425 by 5:30pm on the 15 November 2024.
Full Price: $475 - Bookings close 14th of Feb 2025.
Price must be paid in full at the time of booking.
CANCELLATION & WITHDRAWAL
Your payment is non-refundable but transferable to another student of your finding/relative to the below policy.
For cancellations more than 8 weeks prior to course commencement, all fees will be refunded less $100 cancellation & admin fee.
For cancellations between 6 & 8 weeks prior to commencement date, a 50% cancellation fee applies on the full price.
For cancellations within 6 weeks of commencement date, no refund will be given.

100% attendance is required for certificate to be awarded.
