2026 Legacy Day Weekend
August 14 - 16, 2026
Legacy Day – a festival that celebrates the rich cultural heritage of African Americans in Kent County – has occurred each August since 2013. It is offered free of charge to the public, thanks to the sponsorships of individuals and organizations.
This year's festival celebrates Pursuing Freedom:
Highlights of 250 Years of African American History in Kent County.
