The Sultana Education Foundation’s Downrigging Weekend offers multiple opportunities to sail the Chester River on your choice of nine historic sailing vessels. Each Downrigging sail is 2.5 hours long and departs and returns from the Chestertown Marina at 207 S. Water St. in Chestertown. No previous experience is required to participate, but it’s important that participants dress appropriately for the weather. Please see the FAQ section on the Downrigging website (www.downrigging.org). Children under 5 years of age are not permitted.
