Join us for Ilford inGreen 2026, a community-led climate action and environmental improvement day, bringing together local businesses, residents, and partners to create a greener Ilford.

Ilford inGreen is part of our ongoing commitment to tackling climate change and improving our town centre environment.

Each session includes:

• Community and business photo opportunity
• Supervised litter-picking and gardening activities
• Climate change and sustainability briefing
• Practical action to improve local public spaces

All tools, equipment, and materials will be provided. Activities will be supported by professional gardeners, trained litter-picking coaches, and experienced facilitators.

This initiative encourages collaboration, learning, and hands-on action to benefit the planet, local businesses, and the wider community.

No previous experience is required. All activities are suitable for mixed abilities, and full guidance, equipment, and supervision will be provided on the day.

Participants should wear comfortable clothing and suitable footwear for outdoor activities.

Formed in 2009, Ilford BID is the Business Improvement District for Ilford, representing nearly 400 businesses within the town centre. We work to promote Ilford as an attractive, welcoming, vibrant, and economically successful place to trade.
