UF/IFAS Extension Suwannee County's online Homebuyers Education Class is HUD certified and enables you to qualify for SHIP down payment assistance, HUD rental assistance, and USDA low interest mortgages.
You'll learn about all aspects of home ownership, including:
- Various types of mortgages and fees
- How to create and maintain a household budget
- Pest management
- Landscaping
- How to save energy
This class is one day and in-person. There is a $10 charge and pre-registration is required. Daytime and Spanish classes are available by request; call 386-362-2771.
