Cooking Up Health: The Mediterranean Way

Classes will be held at the Suwannee County Extension Office on the 4th Thursday of the month starting in February and ending in July. Classes are held from 10am - 12pm.

Are you looking for a healthier lifestyle while still enjoying delicious food? Join us for Cooking Up Health: The Mediterranean Way! This 6-class course focuses on Mediterranean cuisine which emphasizes fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and healthy fats.

In this course, you will learn about how diet impacts your health and get to try different recipes! The focus on which foods we eat aims to reduce the reliance on medications for chronic conditions like high blood, cholesterol, and diabetes.
