At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Describe the public health implications of vaccine hesitancy and the re-emergence of previously controlled infectious diseases.
- Describe how misinformation, disinformation and gaps in knowledge contribute to vaccine hesitancy.
- Examine the role of sociocultural beliefs and norms in shaping attitudes towards vaccination.
At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Evaluate the credibility, limitations, and risks of AI generated medical information commonly encountered by patients.
- Explain how AI mediated health information shapes patient decision making and affects the patient–health care provider relationship and physician wellness.
- Apply effective communication strategies to address AI related medical misinformation and support safe, informed patient decisions in clinical encounters.
At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Identify key evidence that illustrates the significant health challenges facing healthcare communities and their patients in these uncertain times.
- Analyze the core components of self-compassion as demonstrated in a reflective exercise and examine associations between self-compassion training and improvements in burnout, secondary stress, compassion satisfaction, and self-compassion outcomes
- Apply at least one practical approach using wellness infographics to engage clinicians in well-being.
