2026 Garden Get Down
About this Event
ADVANCE REGISTRATION ONLY - TICKET SALES END MONDAY, 9/21 AT 11:59PM
Calling all community members, educators, gardeners, and foodies, it’s time to get dahn at the Get Down!
The Garden Get Down is our annual celebration of fresh food, community, and the power of gardens. It’s also our biggest fundraiser of the year, helping to support Grow Pittsburgh’s work to grow and share fresh, healthy food. Whether you are a lifelong gardener, a farm stand regular, or someone who simply loves great food and great company, this all-ages event has something for you.
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, September 22, to celebrate how growing and sharing fresh food is bringing people together and strengthening neighborhoods across Allegheny County.
This year’s Garden Get Down will feature a community seed swap, tours of the Millvale Community Garden, and a small awards ceremony that celebrates local champions of fresh food access. Our friends at 408 Heirloom and Grist House will be serving up creative dishes and drinks that highlight the best of the season’s local produce.
Tell your friends, bring your family, and invite your neighbors! Come meet new friends and reconnect with old ones. This summer celebration will be a night that you don’t want to miss.
Garden Get Down is a community fundraiser with sliding scale tickets. Please give as generously as you can. All proceeds benefit Grow Pittsburgh’s work to help teach people how to grow food and to promote the many benefits gardens bring to our neighborhoods.*
