The Edmonton Fathers Day Gala is organized by TRIF (The Resilient Immigrant Foundation) in partnership with Dad Youniversity, two organizations deeply committed to empowering men, strengthening families, and fostering a culture of resilience and leadership.

TRIF is a community-driven organization focused on improving our communities, by supporting the well-being of individuals and families, through advocacy, education, and counselling.

Their Park N Walk program exist to:

• Build a community of men with health consciousness.
• Supports the physical, spiritual, emotional, financial, occupational, mental health and wellness of men in the community.
• Encourage men to be more physically active by drawing out men as friends and neighbors to engage in physical activities.
• Encourage the habit of regular medical checks.
• Address the cultural barriers to accessing medical support in the community. TRIF creates spaces where individuals can grow, connect, and thrive.
