Happy Hour at Bellamy's Lounge

Elisabeth Wagner, piano
Ryden Jensen, bass
Zechariah Lim, drums
The ERZ Trio started as an independent study based at MacEwan University, formed through a shared curiosity of the piano trio tradition. Inspired by the sounds of Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson,
and Robert Glasper, the group bridges the old and the new through their studies.
Their music emphasizes dynamic contrast, feel, and conversational interplay, creating performances that feel both intentional and spontaneous. They have performed at venues
including The Citadel, The Yardbird Suite and Naked Cyber Café, and continue to establish themselves within Edmonton’s vibrant jazz community.
The ERZ Project was featured at the The Edmonton Winds’ spring concert, “Ballad, Blues and Boogie,” marking an important step in their artistic growth and expanding their presence beyond
the traditional trio setting. As emerging artists, they remain committed to refining their collective voice while honouring the legacy—and future—of the piano trio tradition.
Support for 2026 Edmonton International Jazz Festival is provided by presenting sponsor TD Bank Group.
