We are excited to offer the full Randolph County 4-H Summer Agriventures for Summer 2026! We look forward to seeing our repeat families and meeting our new ones.
4-H Summer Agriventures are educational programs sponsored by Randolph County 4-H to assist youth in developing essential life skills while having fun!
Participants must also enroll in 4-H online and enrollment must take place prior to attending their first session.
Special Notes:
- Each participant must have their own 4-H enrollment.
- Refunds will only be offered at the discretion of the 4-H Agent. If a class is canceled for adverse weather, it will be rescheduled at the convenience of the agent.
- Persons with disabilities and persons with limited English proficiency may request accommodations to participate by contacting Allison Walker, 4-H Agent, at 336-467-2927 or [email protected] by June 1, 2026.
- Water and snacks will be provided at each program.
- All youth must enroll in 4-H to attend classes (choose member at large for club). Enrollment is free, but is required before participating. During enrollment, you will be asked if you understand and agree to abide by the North Carolina 4-H Youth Development Program Liability Waiver, Assumption of the Risk, Photo & Media Release, and Indemnification Agreements. Paws & Protection: Learning about Wildlife Conservation (June 23)
Info: As 4-H’ers explore Tiger World, they will keep their 'Head' in the game to learn cool animal & conservation facts, use their 'Heart' to connect with their rescue stories, and see how 'Hands' are used every day to keep these animals healthy and happy! We will have a parakeet experience and play putt-putt! Participants will need to bring money to buy lunch on the way home. NEED to bring money for lunch or a bagged lunch. Please bring sunscreen and/or wear a hat and closed-toed shoes.

Busy Bees Workshop” A Day in the Life of a Honey Bee (June 25)
Info: Join us for a one-day immersive adventure into the secret world of honeybees! From the "waggle dance" to the science of pollination, we’re diving into the hive to discover why these “busy bees” are our planet’s SUPERHEROES!

Let’s Get It Poppin’! (June 29)
Info: It’s time to get popping! Join us as we explore the life cycle of popcorn from the farm to your favorite movie theater. We’ll learn the secrets of how it grows, watch the science of the pop in action, and spend the day inventing our own gourmet seasonings. Sweet, spicy, or savory—what will your signature flavor be? Don't miss this 'ear-resistible' day of 4-H fun! Snacks, drinks, and lunch will be provided.

Battle of the Bakers (July 7)
Info: Do you have a 'knead' for speed? Join our baking workshop to learn the ropes of the kitchen and bake up a storm. Once the treats are out of the oven, the gloves come off for our Decorating Contest! Show off your artistic side with sprinkles, swirls, and style. It’s hands-on, highly delicious, and a little bit competitive. Let’s see if you can take the cake! Snacks, drinks, and lunch will be provided.

Info: Think you can out-code the course? Our 8-and-up crew is taking over the robotics lab with Sphero! Come learn the secrets of block-based coding to make your bot roll, spin, and flash. We’ll be building custom tracks, testing our 'pilot' skills, and seeing who can program the ultimate robot run. It’s hands-on tech that moves at the speed of light—don’t get left in the dust!

Info: The sun is out, but the 'snow' is on the craft table! Come celebrate the winter holidays in July with our 4-H family. We’ll be joined by a guest artist to teach us the secrets of making beautiful ornaments. It’s an all-ages holiday bash featuring summer vibes and winter crafts.
