2025 AmeriCorps Opening Day Ceremony & Workshops Registration

Important Information — Please Read!

AmeriCorps Program Directors are responsible for registering their Corps members for the morning ceremony as well as any afternoon workshops. Part of the fun of AmeriCorps Opening Day is meeting other Corps members! If your Corps is larger than 25, we strongly encourage splitting up your Corps among the various afternoon workshops so they have a chance to serve alongside others from across the state.

Public Transportation (Recommended):

• Take the Orange Line to State Street or Haymarket.
• Take the Green Line to Haymarket, North Station, Park Street, or Government Center.
• Take the Red Line to Park Street.
• Take the Blue Line to Aquarium/Faneuil Hall.
• Take the Commuter Rail to North Station.

The Massachusetts Service Alliance does not provide stipends for MBTA fare.

Parking: There are plenty of parking options available near Faneuil Hall Marketplace, all within a 15 minute walk.

Requests submitted by Friday, October 31 have a higher chance of being accommodated; however, we will do our best to accommodate requests submitted after that date as well.

Each attendee will be provided a lunch voucher which they can use to purchase lunch from select vendors at Faneuil Hall Marketplace. For a complete list of lunch options click here. Vouchers will be printed and given to AmeriCorps Program Directors during check-in.

If your AmeriCorps members decide not to participate in an afternoon workshop but choose to spend some time in Boston, here are some fun options to check out. Please note that MSA has not arranged tours at the following tourist spots...but rather focused on coordinating member development trainings this year.
