Get ready for an exciting day of family-friendly fun and fierce competition at the Acadiana 500 Tricycle Race! 🚴♀️🎉
This beloved community event brings together local businesses, groups, and schools to design and race custom-built tricycles in an adrenaline-pumping, relay-style race. Teams of 8-9 racers will compete head-to-head for the ultimate bragging rights and, of course, to support some amazing local youth programs like the Boys and Girls Club, Special Olympics, and many more. 💪
What to expect:
Fun for the whole family – We’ll have games, activities, food, and entertainment for all ages, so bring your crew and make it a day out!
High-energy tricycle races – Watch as teams navigate the course in relay-style, passing the tricycle baton without stopping for a truly thrilling competition.
Costume Contest – Race teams will show off their creativity not only in their tricycles but in their costumes too! 🎨🛠️
Support local youth – All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting youth initiatives in New Iberia that make a positive impact in our community.
