About this Event
177 Nations of Tasmania is a unique project that aims to share the stories of one person from every nationality living in Tasmania through images, written word and audio.
Join curator Mark Thomson and project participants for an insightful conversation on how the project began and evolved.
The177 Nations of Tasmania exhibition will be on display at Launceston Library from 1 March to 25 May 2026. The exhibition includes photographic portraits and narrative text describe the personal journeys of people who come from one of the 177 nationalities that make up Tasmania’s diverse population.
