Join us for a presentation that will explore how rail accidents and safety shaped the town of Elkhart, its people, and the railroads themselves: the Lake Shore & Michigan Southern, New York Central, Penn Central, Conrail, and Norfolk Southern. We will also look to the future of safety and emergency response, highlighting Elkhart’s first responders and city planning.About the Speaker:
Andrew Medford is Director of Transportation Safety at Lippert Components. Medford was born and raised in the Elkhart area and is a HO scale model railroader with 21 years of transportation experience.
