This is the 10th year for 100 Women with Heart! We are pleased to announce that Thursday, May 28th is the date of the event and it will be held at Tanglewood Marsh Golf Course.
We hope to have 100 Women show up for the 10th year and give away $10,000! Join us to help us reach this goal because without you, it isn’t possible!
Each attendee has the opportunity to nominate a local (nonprofit) organization or program. Upon entry, attendees will pledge their donation upon arrival to the venue. (Be sure to sign-in when you arrive!) Nominations for local non-profit organizations or projects will be collected in the fishbowl up until the drawing at 7pm. We will then draw names out of the fishbowl & hear from the person (or a representative) who nominated the each of the three groups (drawn at random from a "fishbowl" - 5 min speech for each drawn-no duplicate organizations) then all ladies in attendance (whom have all pledged to donate) will vote to select the winning organization or project.
Our goal is to engage 100 women and therefore disperse $10,000 in our community!! Thank you to everyone who has participated in past years! Last year during our 9th annual event the Chippewa Chippewa County's Walk for Warmth Fund was the recipient of the evening's funds!
Thanks to the Tanglewood Marsh & Golf Course for hosting our 10th annual event! Sault Ste. Marie's Lion's Club has generously offered to sponsor light refreshments. ALL are invited to an evening of networking and philanthropy!
