Join us on Friday June 19th for the Jane Bishop Memorial Native Plant and Garden Market at the Sault Ste Marie Market corner at Ashmun and Portage. Native Plants, wildflowers, and garden plants along with flowers, garden decorations, and tools will be available from vendors. Additional vendors will also be on hand with education about plants, and invasive species. CLMCD will be hosting the pick-up of their pre-ordered native plants as well. Come down and enjoy the Native plant and Garden market from 2:00pm to 6:30pm.
Why Jane Bishop Memorial? Jane Bishop was a 20 year District Director at the Conservation District. Jane suddenly passed in March 2025 and we are honoring her legacy through our native plant sale as she was an avid gardener and lover of flowers.
*Profits from the native plant sale will be used towards Conservation District programs, projects, and education through out Chippewa Luce and Mackinac Counties.*
