BREAKING: U.S. SENATE CANDIDATE ABDUL EL-SAYED WILL HOST A NORTHERN MICHIGAN RALLY AND FUNDRAISER IN SAULT STE. MARIE WITH EUP SOLIDARITY ON MAY 29TH AT LAKE SUPERIOR STATE AND BIRD’S EYE. LET’S SHOW UP. Last year, U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed came to Sault Ste. Marie and listened to our rural community members on the needs of Northern Michigan. Since then, Abdul has blazed across the campaign trail with his commitment to affordable healthcare, combatting corporate power, standing up for the working class, and protecting Michiganders from secret data center monopolies.
Along with Bernie Sanders and other champions of the working class, EUP Solidarity has formally endorsed Abdul El-Sayed and we are honored to host Abdul’s Sault Ste. Marie rally at Lake Superior State. But that’s not all. We are also hosting an Abdul Meet and Greet and Fundraiser Party to support his Senate run at Bird’s Eye.
This fundraiser is FREE for EVERYONE. Abdul’s campaign is a grassroots movement for working people: throw Abdul some money to keep fighting for us, volunteer for the campaign, buy a YOOPERS FOR ABDUL t-shirt, hang with community members, patronize Bird’s Eye, or come by to meet Abdul for yourself! Let’s party!
IT IS TIME FOR CHANGE. Abdul is running a campaign by and for the working people. He has demonstrated in real life a commitment to Michiganders- and working Yoopers, in particular.

Rally Information: Friday, May 29 at the Lake Superior State University Arts Center. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the event runs from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.
Fundraiser Information: Friday, May 29 at Bird’s Eye, 107 E Portage Ave, Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783. The event runs from 8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., and admission is free. Bring checks or cash to donate to the movement.
