1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work for the Shropshire Voluntary Sector

Overview:

This is a basic level First Aid course and meets the HSE requirements. As such it is designed for small or medium Charitable groups & organisations for both voluntary sector staff and volunteers. This free course is aimed at anyone who volunteers or works for community groups or charities within Shropshire.

Please note this free training is to support community groups, voluntary organisations, community buildings/village halls and volunteers and is only available to volunteers and organisations (within Shropshire UK) . Please do not book onto this course if you are not volunteering or working within Shropshire UK as your registration will be cancelled/removed. Spaces are limited and restricted to two places per organisation.This accredited free training is supported by Shropshire Council and Funded by Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government (MHCLG) and managed by the Voluntary & Community Support Team at Community Resource.

This is a one day course delivered in person in a classroom setting, with both theory and practical sessions. To be held at Community Resource, Shrewsbury Business Park, SY2 6LG. P lease note this accredited training is delivered by Heys First Aid and attendence of the full day course is required to receive your First Aid Certificate. Certificates will be sent out to attendees after completion of the course.

Booking is essential and only confirmed ticket holders will be admitted on the day. Once you have successfully booked onto your course. You will be emailed a week before the training date, to confirm your place, booking reference number and instructions for what you will need on the day. Important to note this training requires participants to be able to get down and onto and up from the foor. If this may be a concern for you, please contact us to discuss possible alternatives.

We do offer a waiting list facility. So, if you are unable to attend, please could you let us know as soon as possible via email so we can then offer your free place to someone else.
