Three weeks after the H5N1 Zombie Virus transformed sunny Sunnyville into Zombie Town, the CDC quietly stopped a global catastrophe by inoculating the outside world—no one beyond a few officials ever knew. Inside the quarantine, however, the townsfolk aren’t mindless monsters; they’re the same upstanding citizens… just, well, dead—and battling an inconvenient craving for living human flesh. To keep the peace, the Save a Zombie Alliance forced a historic treaty: zombies stay within the border, humans stay out—and if a living soul wanders in, they’re fair game for dinner.Now, Ashes, the self-appointed Emperor of Zombie Town, is negotiating final terms with the U.S. President. Pumpkins (surprisingly) keep the undead mostly satisfied, but the cravings persist and morale is crumbling. To calm the restless horde, the town launches the Undead Festival—a raucous night of pumpkin-inspired fare, music, games… and secrets. You are a citizen of Zombie Town. You’re attending the festival. This is where your story begins.
