🔥 Burn Your Own Moccasins Workshop — Friday, Nov 7, 2025Join LamontagneMade and Indigenous Dreams for a cozy, culture-honouring evening of pyrography (wood/leather burning) where you’ll design and burn custom artwork onto your own leather moccasins. We’ll cover safe tool handling, heat control, outlining, shading, pattern transfer, and finishing—so your designs look crisp and hold up to wear.
What’s included:
Guided instruction with step-by-step demos
Practice leather swatches to test tips and strokes
Design templates (florals, geometrics, traditional motifs) + lettering guides
Transfer paper, pencils, and finishing tips
What to bring:
Your own moccasins (moccasins are not provided at this session)
Want to make a pair from scratch?
Moccasin kits ($120) are available, and you can build your pair with Susan Hill at our companion Moccasin Making Workshop on Sunday, Nov 9—then return to burn or bead your design.
