📍 Adanac Ski Hill (744 Beatrice Crescent)
💸 Pay-What-You-Can Donation
We'll start at dusk with a short presentation about the bats that call our region home, followed by a demonstration of acoustic bat detection technology. Then we'll head out on a guided walk along the Rotary Trail to listen for and identify bats in real time using specialized monitoring equipment.
🧢 What to Bring:
🔦 Headlamp or flashlight (Limited supply available to borrow)
🧥 Weather-appropriate clothing
🦟 Bug protection is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED(spray or netting)
This family-friendly event is perfect for nature enthusiasts, curious minds, and anyone interested in local wildlife!
