February 9th to 15th: The Feminist Festival returns, and this year it will not only take place in the 8th district, but throughout the city - if they pretend not to hear us, we will be even louder!
The year 2025 has passed, and they still don't want to understand that no means no. Silence does not mean consent. Harassment is not a compliment. Abuse is not some individual problem, but a systemic issue. It is present in workplaces, hospitals, universities, on the streets, in entertainment venues, in our personal spaces, and in institutions that are supposed to protect us. Until this does not change, feminism remains our common cause.
If the system does not protect us, let us protect each other.
We need to identify red flags.
We need to continue building our communities, to organize ourselves.
We draw the line, up to here and no further.
We make our spaces safe.
We don't stay silent, and we don't let ourselves be silenced.
We break down the walls of elitism and raise the voices of those who are not being heard.
If you're tired of being told how you should exist.
If you are tired of being told that you should not exist.
If you are tired of being told that you are just "too sensitive" and you want to scream.
If you want to change things, not just survive.
If you believe that solidarity is strength.

During the festival, we are organizing a fundraising campaign for the BMSZKI DĂłzsa Night Shelter, which provides accommodation in Budapest for homeless women and women in precarity. They provide everything from low-access-barrier aid to a special 24-hour support.
