Start your night grooving to a live funk band set with Lady Muse and The Inspirations followed by a prom themed drag show with Ruby Chopstix, Kymera, Lady Fortuna, Marquesa and Lady Muse. Door prizes will be drawn at midnight - after, dance the night away with DJs M.C. LUV and Wanda G spinning nu disco, funky house, and happy music!
🤵♀️ Dress to impress in your most fabulous fit and show off your true colours. Tuxes, prom dresses and other funky formal wear are highly encouraged. Snap a pic in our Pride Prom photo booth to capture memories for a lifetime. This is your chance to fulfill your prom fantasies as never before!

❤️ M.C. LUV - M.C. LUV brings individuality, style and soul to the floor. Expressing an artistry that pays homage to her Afro Latin roots, M.C. LUV invites you to a music experience that lets you find your space. With a passion for her art that is palpable, Mariana opens the mic, fusing her own harmonies and rich freestyle vocals that pull you closer to the heart of her set. Delivering soulful house and original tracks, M.C. LUV opens your world to a fresh groove and creative approach to musical expression.
🧡 Wanda G - Music defined is the output of expression through sound; it is experience, emotion and feeling. Thriving on soulful beats, vocal house and the ear to mix with masterful, seamless transitions, the introduction of Wanda G to Winnipeg's gowing roster of talent is joyful and welcome. Her own journey through time and around the world has cultivated her rich sound and unapologetic reverence to some of music's greatest influencers. What you see from the dance floor is passionate artistry invested in your own musical odyssey from the drop of the stop although her sets crave no end. This is the house of Wanda G.
💛 Lady Muse - A drag artist and live singing diva from Winnipeg, Lady Muse is the only drag queen in Winnipeg who regularly fronts a live band - her handsome boys known as The Inspirations. Her performances captivate audiences with her unique song selections, vocal prowess and elegant looks. For PRIDE PROM, Lady Muse & The Inspirations are going to funk the house down with some of your favourite prom anthems from the 80s and 90s through to now. You can catch Lady Muse at Club 200, in music venues, and more.
💚 The Inspirations - The Inspirations can be found backing Lady Muse on her live music outings. This funky ass band is comprised of some of Wininpeg's best - and best looking - musicians. The Inspirations are Carter Graham (keys), Kyle Cobb (guitar), Julian Bradford (bass), Daniel Roy (drums), and Sean Irvine (sax).
💙 Ruby Chopstix - This queen's goal is to empower, inspire, and help Queer BIPoC in all she does. She has been setting the work in by creating The Velvet Rope: A BIPoC Showcase and Party, creating her own house for BIPoC called The Dynasty, opening for Canada's Drag Race Season 2 Tour, performing at Ai-Kon 23, and being chosen as Rainbow Resource Centre's first Drag Artist in Residence! She is the drag queen who fights evil by moonlight, wins love by daylight, and never runs from a real fight! She is the one named Ruby Chopstix.
💜 Kymera - Kymera tears up stages across the city with performances that are high‐energy, sometimes comedic, and always electrifying. A founding member of local drag trio Chemical X, she strives to ensure that performers who identify as BIPOC always have a safe space to showcase their art and performances. She’s pretty, she’s witty, and she's 2024's crowned Eterntainer of the Year - she’s Kymera!
🩷 Lady Fortuna - Lady Fortuna is one of many that emerged from Prairie Theatre Exchange’s Drag Performance class back in 2019. Staring in various shows in downtown Winnipeg, participating in creative partnerships with Young Lungs Dance Exchange, Art Holm 6, and Weather Parade’s “In the Dark” showcase alongside co-founder (Special K) of the Filipino drag duo, Bahay Perlas. For you (the community), for me (for them-self to explore and create), and that is Fortuna! For you, for me, FORTUNA!
🖤 Marquesa - The stunting diva Marquesa likes long walks, sunny days and fried chicken. She has been performing drag for over two years (which is longer than her longest relationship!) You can catch her hosting bingo at Club Happenings, lipsyncing upside down in clubs around the city, and dancing the night away wherever she goes.
Important Event Information
🤑 The Royal Albert Arms is a CASH ONLY bar (and drag queens love to be tipped!) so please prepare accordingly. There is also an ATM on-site.
🅿️ There is a paid parking garage directly across the street from the Royal Albert Arms. However, we strongly discourage attendees from driving if they are planning to consume alcohol in any quantity; take an Uber or public transportation instead, or rent a limo - it's prom!
