Join us for a hands-on volunteer morning in our beloved Reynoldstown Memorial Park! We’ll be removing invasive plant species to help restore the natural ecosystem and make space for native plants to thrive. This is not just a workday — it’s an opportunity to learn.
We’re thrilled to have Jeremiah Wood, lead of our local Georgia Native Plant Society (GNPS) pod, guiding the day.
He’ll share:
🌱 Why invasive plants harm local ecosystems
🌱 Which native plants benefit our wildlife, soil, and pollinators
🌱 How to identify and remove invasive species effectively
🌱 Simple ways we can support biodiversity at home and in our neighborhoods
Whether you’re into gardening, ecology, climate action — or just want to spend a morning outside doing something meaningful — this will be a rewarding experience.
What to Bring:
✔️ Gardening gloves
✔️ A small or large shovel and/or hand trowel (if you have one)
✔️ Comfortable shoes + reusable water bottle
✔️ Good vibes + neighborly spirit 💚
Volunteer Spots Available: 7–10 people
Please RSVP so we can plan accordingly.
