Through years of spiritual study and healing work, Fronterhouse Drums has developed a passion for shamanic drumming and the powerful role it can play in personal transformation. The drum's low-frequency resonance can support meditation, self-awareness, emotional healing, and a deeper connection to spirit, self, and the natural world.
This hands-on workshop will guide you through the creation of your own medicine drum while honoring tradition, the land, and the sacred intentions each participant brings to the process.

• Willow hoop
• Buffalo rawhide drumhead
• Rawhide lacing
• Opportunities to personalize and decorate your drum
What to Bring
✨ An altar item representing your prayer or intention for creating your medicine drum (returned at the end of the day)
✨ A wooden stick, pinecone, or other burnable offering for the opening fire ceremony
✨ Comfortable clothing suitable for Pacific Northwest weather

Please arrive 15 minutes early so we can begin the fire ceremony promptly at 11:00 AM.
This is an all-day ceremonial experience, typically concluding around 5:00 PM. We invite you to allow yourself the time and space needed for these sacred creations to unfold naturally.
Our drum and song circles weave together pagan, folk, native, and contemporary traditions, creating a welcoming space for healing, self-discovery, and community connection.
