Join us on Yule Eve, Friday, December 20th from 5:30-7pm for a Yule Log party workshop with Jessie from Lang Hearth and Homestead. Food and mocktails will be served while you craft your unique Yule log.
Just in time for Yule, this workshop is designed to honor the age-old practice of creating a Yule log, a symbol of warmth, light, and renewal during the winter solstice.
In this workshop, you’ll learn about the history and significance of the Yule log, including the prayers and offerings associated with this beautiful tradition. Jessie will guide you through the process of crafting your own Yule log, using natural materials that embody the spirit of the season. Each participant will create a unique log adorned with meaningful items, allowing you to personalize your creation. Feel free to bring any sentimental items to add to your Yule log.
You’ll receive a take-home sheet that includes a special Yule prayer and explanations of the various items we use in our crafts. This resource will help you continue the traditions of Yule in your own home, fostering a connection to nature and the cycles of the year.
All materials are provided for you to create your own, beautiful Yule log. Tickets for this experience are $33 and can be purchased through the event link or by calling/texting the shop at (920) 764-3007.
