We’re celebrating 1 year of Hiking with Buds! 🎉 What started as a simple idea to get outside, explore local trails, and spend time together has turned into one of our favorite community traditions.
Join us for a special anniversary hike at High Cliff State Park, where lake views, wooded trails, and a little elevation make for a beautiful morning adventure. We’ll explore scenic trails, enjoy some fresh air, and celebrate a year of hiking, laughs, and good memories along the way.

⏰ 10:00 AM - Meet at the shop (1104 N 8th St, Sheboygan)
📍 High Cliff State Park
🌿 High Cliff features:
> Beautiful views overlooking Lake Winnebago
> Forest, prairie, wetlands, and limestone escarpment scenery
> A mix of easygoing paths and more challenging sections
> Scenic overlooks, historic areas, and plenty to explore along the way
🥾 Early Fall Trail Notes:
> September weather can be unpredictable, so layers are your best friend
> Expect a mix of shaded trails, sunny stretches, hills, and uneven terrain
> Comfortable hiking shoes are highly recommended
> Bug spray and sunscreen are still worth packing
> A Wisconsin State Park vehicle admission sticker is required for parking
🎒 What to Bring:
Comfortable hiking shoes, water, a light snack, sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses, and a light jacket or extra layer for changing temperatures.
🐾 Dog Friendly:
Dogs are welcome at High Cliff State Park! Please keep pups leashed, attended, and bring waste bags to help us keep the trails beautiful.

Alcohol-free • Waiver provided • Carpooling encouraged • Leave no trace • State Park vehicle admission sticker required
