1:00-2:30 p.m. Levitt AMP: House of DOV: Circle of Apathy feat. Family Junket
Circle of Apathy, a new collaboration between House of DOV and Family Junket, is an immersive dance and live music performance that explores the cycles of growth, decay, and interconnection found in nature. Through evolving physical structures, dynamic movement, and layered soundscapes, the artists examine the human body as both a reflection of and participant in the natural world.
2:45-4:00 p.m. Family Junket, Neosoul/Funk/R&B
Family Junket is a Chicago-based collective of musicians and multidisciplinary artists who create healing, community-centered performances through lush, unpredictable compositions blending horns, strings, percussion, looping textures, and improvisation. Their debut album, Did You Tell the Bees?, was released in 2025 and has been featured by the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Reader, and City Cast Chicago.
