Because Alabama is one of the sunniest states in the country — yet less than 1% of our electricity comes from solar. That’s not because solar doesn’t work here — it’s because outdated policies and corporate interests are holding us back. We're coming together to say: Let the Sunshine In!
Sun Day was first launched nationally in 1978 — and now it’s been revived as a people-powered movement to call for clean, affordable energy that works for everyone. 🌍⚡
