Opulence is proud to host Sidewalk Deserves Everything-a night dedicated to film, flavor, and fierce community love. We’re rolling out the red carpet (and the tortillas) for one of Birmingham’s most beloved cultural gems: Sidewalk Cinema.
For over 25 years, Sidewalk has championed independent cinema, amplified local voices, and transformed downtown Birmingham into a hub for storytelling through its annual festival, top notch theater, and year-round programming. From indie darlings to thought-provoking documentaries, Sidewalk has given Birmingham a front-row seat to the power of film-and we think that deserves everything.
On Sunday, September 21st from 5PM to 9PM, we’re turning up the heat and giving back. 20% of all profits from this taco-fueled evening will go straight to Sidewalk Cinema to help them keep the reels rolling and the magic alive.
Expect delicious tacos, dazzling drag, and a crowd as passionate as a film noir finale. Whether you’re a cinephile, taco fanatic, or just looking for a good time that gives back-this is your night.
