About this Event

在全球地緣政治與經濟格局快速演變的當下，中美關係、科技競爭與多極世界的形成，正深刻影響全球治理、商業決策及社會發展。香港大學傳訊及公共事務處與藍海沙龍合辦本次對話，由成為資本董事長、復旦大學國際問題研究院諮詢委員會主任李世默先生及香港大學副校長（大學拓展）、數學、計算與數據科學講座教授汪揚教授展開交流。

對談將探討「小院高牆」與「大世界」之間的張力：當競爭、限制與不確定性上升，我們應如何理解世界秩序的重組，以及中國、香港與各界參與者可如何把握新的連結與機遇。活動設觀眾問答環節，歡迎港大師生、校友及各界人士參與。

At a time of rapid geopolitical and economic change, China–U.S. relations, technological competition and the emergence of a multipolar world are reshaping global governance, business decision-making and social development. Co-organised by the Communications and Public Affairs Office of the University of Hong Kong and Blue-sea salon, this dialogue brings together Dr. Eric X. LI, Chairman of Chengwei Capital; Chairman of the Advisory Committee, Institute of International Studies, Fudan University, and Professor Yang WANG, HKU Vice-President and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Institutional Advancement), Chair Professor in Mathematics, Computing and Data Science.

The conversation will examine the tension between “Small Yard, High Fence” and a wider world: as competition, restrictions and uncertainty intensify, how should we understand the changing global order, and how might China, Hong Kong and different sectors identify new connections and opportunities? An audience Q&A session will follow. HKU students, staff, alumni and members of the public are welcome to join.
