A public program accompanying “Digital Emotions: From electric pulse to human touch of five international panels, hands-on workshops, and live performances bridging Czechia and Hong Kong. The series brings together pioneering artists, curators, and institutional leaders to explore how data streams, algorithms, and immersive media are transforming our realities.
【DX設計館】《數位情感》對談系列第5彈 : 畫廊內的數碼與媒體設計
當數碼藝術進入畫廊與美術館,它不再只是依附於科技的展示形式,更成為當代藝術實踐的重要媒介。
面對螢幕作品、互動裝置、生成藝術及時間媒介作品的興起,藝文機構如何策劃、展示及收藏這些嶄新的藝術形式?策展人、藝術家與文化機構又如何透過展覽設計及觀眾參與策略,讓數碼藝術在實體展覽空間中產生更深刻的對話與體驗?
本場對談將邀請來自香港及捷克的策展人、藝術機構代表及藝術家,共同探討數碼與媒體藝術在畫廊及美術館中的展示實踐,分享策展方法、空間設計考量,以及當代藝文機構如何回應快速發展的數碼創作生態。

【DX design hub】’Digital Emotions’ – Digital Talk Series V: Digital and Media Design Inside Galleries
The upcoming talk explores how galleries and museums present and contextualise digital and media art as contemporary art practices. Speakers from Czech and Hong Kong institutions and artists will discuss curatorial strategies, exhibition design, and how intangible, time-based, and screen-based works are integrated into gallery programmes and collections.

Felix Kwok
Registered Auctioneer in China; Honorary Lecturer at HKU School of Future Media; Academic Advisor at the Tsinghua University Academy of Arts & Design Training Center. Felix served as Chief Creative Officer and Deputy Director of Shenzhen Bay Culture Square, and the Director and Head of Modern Art at Sotheby’s Asia, where he set world records for sales of Chinese masters, including Zao Wou-Ki, Chu Teh-Chun, Wu Guanzhong, and Sanyu, achieved four world records for Vietnamese art, and secured seven out of eight records for Picasso in Asia. Felix auctioned the two most valuable Chinese paintings ever sold by Sotheby’s globally. He was included in the “40 Under 40 Asia Pacific” list by Apollo- The International Art Magazine (London, 2022) and recognized as one of the “Most Influential People in Art” by Observer (New York, 2024)

國家註冊拍賣師,香港大學未來媒體學院榮譽講師,清華大學美術學院培訓中心學術顧問,歷任深圳灣文化廣場首席創意官、副館長,蘇富比亞洲區董事暨現代藝術部主管,曾創下趙無極、朱德群、吳冠中、常玉等大師天價紀錄,越南藝術品四大世界紀錄,畢加索亞洲八大紀錄其中七項,並掌槌蘇富比全球高價兩項中國書畫紀錄。2024年獲選紐約《觀察家報》「藝術界最具影響力人士」及2022年倫敦《阿波羅》國際藝術雜誌「亞太區四十歲以下四十人」。
About the Panel:
𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗶 | Deputy Director and Head of Art, Tai Kwun Contemporary
Philip Tinari is an internationally acclaimed curator and cultural leader who has shaped contemporary art discourse in China and on the global stage.
Before joining Tai Kwun as Deputy Director and Head of Art in 2026, Tinari served as Director and Chief Executive of UCCA Center for Contemporary Art for fourteen years.
During his tenure, he oversaw the expansion of China’s premier contemporary art institution from the flagship UCCA Beijing to UCCA Dune (Beidaihe), UCCA Edge (Shanghai), and UCCA Clay (Yixing). He delivered blockbuster surveys of historical icons such as Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, and Andy Warhol, along with major shows of leading figures including Cao Fei, Maurizio Cattelan, and Yang Fudong.
Beyond UCCA, he co-curated the landmark exhibition Art and China after 1989: Theater of the World at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York and organized Feeling the Stones, the inaugural Diriyah Contemporary Art Biennale in Riyadh.

加入大館擔任副總監及藝術主管之前,田霏宇曾擔任 UCCA 尤倫斯當代藝術中心館長兼行政總裁長達 14 年 。任內,他致力擴展 UCCA,建立以主館 UCCA 北京、UCCA 沙丘美術館(北戴河)、UCCA Edge(上海)及 UCCA 陶美術館(宜興)組成中國首屈一指的當代藝術機構。他亦策劃多位藝術史上重要人物的大型展覽,包括巴勃羅.畢加索、亨利.馬蒂斯和安迪.華荷; 並為多位先鋒藝術家舉辦展覽,包括曹斐、毛里吉奧.卡特蘭及楊福東。
在 UCCA 以外,他曾擔任紐約所羅門.R.古根漢美術館大型展覽「1989 年後的藝術與中國:世界劇場」的聯合策展人 ,並策劃了利雅得首屆迪里耶當代藝術雙年展「摸著石頭過河」 。
𝗜𝘃𝗮 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗸𝗮́ | Curator at Kunsthalle Praha
Iva Polanecká is a curator and sound artist based in Prague and the Krkonoše Mountains. She graduated from the Time-Based Media Studio at the Faculty of Art and Design, Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. Her work turns towards field recording and listening as a form of attentiveness to place. She is interested in sounds that usually disappear beneath the surface of the day: bird voices, shifting landscapes, distances, rhythms and subtle acoustic happenings. Her practice grows out of a long-standing interest in audiovisual art, sensory environments and the relationship between humans and the more-than-human world. As a curator, she focuses on exhibition formats that work with sound, image, technology and sensory experience.
𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱 𝗞𝗼𝗿̌𝗶́𝗻𝗲𝗸 | Professor at Faculty of Art and Design, UJEP & Artist (Rafani group)
prof. Mgr. David Kořínek is a Czech artist, filmmaker, curator and university professor. Since 2007, he has been a member of the art group Rafani, whose work moves across installation, video, film, performance, public space interventions, text, institutional critique and collective artistic research. Rafani regularly exhibit in Czech and international galleries and institutions, and their works are represented in institutional and private collections.
Within Rafani, David Kořínek is involved in long-term projects dealing with political imagination, collective identity, power, social roles, public space, media images and the changing conditions of contemporary society. The group often works with fragmentary narratives, symbolic figures, fictional or parafictional situations, and formats that move between exhibition, event, film, publication and public gesture.
Alongside his artistic practice, David Kořínek has long been active in art education. He is a professor at the Faculty of Art and Design, Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem, where he also serves as Vice-Dean for External Relations and Internationalization. He previously headed the Center for Audiovisual Studies at FAMU in Prague and co-founded and led the Supermedia Studio at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. He also teaches at UMPRUM and Scholastika.
𝗠𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝗶𝗻 | Artist and Curator
Man Tin is a Hong Kong–based academic and artist exploring human–machine collaboration through computational aesthetics, machine creativity, and philosophy of technology. His work examines how machine technology reshapes artistic perception, lived experience, and the dynamics of creative agency.
He is currently an Assistant Professor at Hong Kong Metropolitan University. His research and artworks have appeared in international journals and festivals, including Springer Nature, ISEA, IHSI, IHIET, Ars Electronica Festival, PROTOTYP Festival, and SidewalkCINEMA Festival.
Man Tin is the founder of PRÉCÉDÉE artspace, a 24/7 contemporary art and media space in Hong Kong featured in The New York Times. He also serves in committee roles across arts organizations, including HKDA, YADF, and is affiliated internationally with Chinese DiGRA, CAAR (Czech Republic), and FMT (Sweden).
𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗺 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗸𝗷𝗶 | Artist
Karim Tarakji deals in his work with new media and their impact on contemporary society. With his work, he tries to cross the boundaries between new technologies and everyday life, and thus strives for their connection, understanding. In addition, he is interested in the very scientific nature of the latest technologies, which has not yet been exhausted. This is reflected in the creative essence of the works, which constantly brings new visual possibilities.
𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗴 | Independent Curator
Currently working as the Director of Art in Hospital and Community Art Network, vice-chairperson of ADAHK, Ms Grace Cheng is also the guest curator of Hong Kong Palace Museum. She believes art could bring infinite possibilities, therefore she has been curating and presenting exhibitions and art projects that embrace a wide range of mediums across many fields and disciplines.
Ms Cheng curates projects with the interests of community engagement: Big Happy Heart – Community Art Project (2007) was a project that assembled 1,500 paintings, which were created by patients, rehabilitants, students, artists, and people from all walks of life, into a giant artwork to convey the message: art heals. Charming Experience (2009) was a groundbreaking project that showcased artworks in which the audience could experience art through different senses. Made in Wetland (2010) guided the audience to appreciate the beauty of nature through various art workshops which were in coherence with the environment of Hong Kong Wetland Park. No Boundaries: Reinterpreting Palace Museum Culture (2022), Dwelling in Tranquillity – Reinventing Traditional Gardens (2024), A Day in the City — An Experimental Study of Things Across Time (2026)offers a Hong Kong perspective and nurtures Hong Kong artists contributing to the study and appreciation of Hong Kong and Chinese art & Culture.
She also organised the 11th International Expressive Arts Therapy Association Conference (2015), which drew professionals from different countries to discuss the implementation of art and therapy in improving the quality of life.
