✨️ KIRTAN EVENING: Bhāva in Ljubljana/ Synergy Event SpecialWe warmly invite you to an evening of sacred sound and communal connection through Kirtan – taking place in Ljubljana on Sunday, the 7th of September 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM (19.00–20.30). The event will be held in the event hall of Dijaški dom Tabor (Hostel).
This Kirtan is a Satellite event of the workshop: Yoga Beyond Strength & Flexibility: Simon Borg-Olivier in Ljubljana. All the participants of this event get FREE ENTRY. All the rest of the participants are invited come for FREE too, but are encouraged to donate a contribution (5-10 euros).
🎶 WHAT IS KIRTAN?
Kirtan is a call-and-response chanting practice rooted in devotional traditions of India. It is a form of musical meditation where voice, rhythm, and collective presence unite to create a powerful experience of connection and transcendence. There is no need for musical experience – everyone is welcome. Simply bring your voice, your presence, and a willingness to immerse yourself in the moment.
🕉️ THE GUIDE: Bhāva (Stefan)
Stefan, who goes by the artist name Bhāva, interprets this word as emotional expression becoming divine form. Since 2021, he has been leading chanting ceremonies across England and is now excited to share this joyful and meditative practice with the community in Ljubljana.
For Bhāva, music can be transcendent, and when infused with sacred intention, it offers a deeper gateway to self and spirit. He views these sacred chants as a way to connect with divine archetypes – not as distant deities, but as reflections of our inner being expressed through vibration.
He emphasizes the importance of cultural reverence: though we may reinterpret these ancient practices, we must do so with respect and gratitude toward the traditions and histories that shaped them. His kirtan includes Indian instrumentation and influence, while also weaving in Buddhist and Himalayan elements, creating a truly unique, living sound experience.
