Join the team behind the popular podcast “Planet Money” to celebrate the publication of their first book, “Planet Money: A Guide to the Economic Forces That Shape Your Life.” Author and longtime contributor Alex Mayyasi and co-host and reporter Jeff Guo will bring “Planet Money’s” signature brand of storytelling to the stage to discuss highlights from the new book, including unlikely origin stories, revealing truths about human behavior and insightful suggestions for navigating chaotic times drawn from the latest ideas in economics. They’ll be joined by Raj Chetty, William A. Ackman professor of economics at Harvard University and director of Opportunity Insights.
Come prepared to engage with the silly and the sublime and ask some questions of your favorite “Planet Money” hosts and reporters. Copies of the book will be available to purchase from our bookstore partner Brookline Booksmith. Mayyasi and Guo will sign following the conversation.
