‘Down the Duck With John Guider’ Earth Day Screening

WNPT hosts an Earth Day event featuring a screening of Down the Duck With John Guider, a documentary following award-winning photographer Guider’s month-long journey down all 270 miles of Middle Tennessee’s Duck River. Popcorn and light refreshments will be provided.

Following the screening, Guider and filmmakers Andy Duensing and Josh Duensing will participate in a discussion moderated by Becky Magura, WNPT’s president and CEO.

Down the Duck capturies the river’s natural beauty while raising awareness about its threatened water levels. Along the way, Guider’s journey reveals the river’s remarkable ecological diversity, rich history, and the communities working to protect it.
