Who are we when we lose ourselves in our own stories, behind our own masks?
Is a story ever just a story? Or is it where we hide our deepest truth?
Based on Henrik Ibsen's timeless classic 𝘗𝘦𝘦𝘳 𝘎𝘺𝘯𝘵, Shahman Moishan's deconstructed adaptation 𝙋𝙞𝙖𝙧𝙪 𝙂𝙖𝙯𝙞𝙧 𝙂𝙤𝙡𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙝 brings the world of Northern European theatre into the language, memories, imagination, and cultural life of Bengal. A familiar tale takes on a new body, and new questions are born from within an old story.
Do we, while constructing ourselves, eventually run away from ourselves?
Where does the line between imagination and reality fade?
At the very end of life, when we look back, is the person we see truly "me"?
Step into 𝙋𝙞𝙖𝙧𝙪 𝙂𝙖𝙯𝙞𝙧 𝙂𝙤𝙡𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙝. Perhaps through his story, we will come face to face with ourselves, and with each other.
