Zones of Wellness (ZOW) community playdates are unique, engaging annual events hosted by Childhood Matters to promote mental health awareness and wellness for children, teens, and families. These playdates create safe, interactive spaces where participants can explore mental health topics through fun, hands-on activities, games, and experiences.
Zones of Wellness: Explore engaging, interactive zones for the whole family, including:
- Art & Creativity: Unleash your imagination with hands-on art activities.
- Music & Movement: Dance, groove, and make music together.
- Nature: Meet therapy animals and connect with the outdoors through fun, nature-inspired activities.
- Fitness & Nutrition: Learn healthy habits with interactive fitness challenges and nutrition tips.
- Play and Sensory Exploration: Enjoy engaging and interactive play activities and dive into calming, sensory-friendly experiences.
- Mindfulness: Practice mindfulness and relaxation techniques for all ages.
Featured Highlights:
A Silent Disco
Special Character Joy, from the Movie Inside Out, will be at the event from 11:30 am-12:30 pm.
A Bubble Release Ceremony with Joy will be held where families will blow bubbles as a symbolic way of releasing stress and sending positive intentions.
