ATTENTION, EVERYONE:Are you a fan of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", "Monster High", and "Sailor Moon"? Then this brand new original show coming to Peoria is just for you! We are in need of actors and crew for this exciting production set to debut on November 14 and 15th here in Peoria, IL!
"Zombie Cheer Squad: Rise of the Dark Coven" follows Brittany Darktrout, an average girl who one day finds herself in an all-out monster war of evil vampires and Zombie cheerleaders, and only she can bring peace back to the world!
Auditions will feature cold readings from the script, followed by small singing and movement auditions. Those auditioning for Brittany, Cassandra, and Gwendolyn should wear comfortable shoes and prepare to sing.

BRITTANY DARKTROUT: (female-identifying, 16, lead) a cynical, clumsy nobody who
eventually becomes a “superhero” and defender of justice. Always striving for more. Daughter of a higher vampire. (CHEERLEADING/DANCE/GYMNASTICS EXPERIENCE PREFERRED).
CASSANDRA PLUME: (female-identifying, 17, lead) a more energetic, geeky best friend of
Brittany who is really protective of her. Always determined to do her best and more, if possible.
(Also plays one of the CONCLAVE and SHADOW.) (CHEERLEADING, DANCE, GYMNASTICS EXPERIENCE PREFERRED).
GWENDOLYN DARKPIKE: (female-identifying, 18, secondary) The passionate, determined
monstrous cheer-captain of the Dark Coven. A spoiled higher vampire. (Also plays SHADOW 2.) (CHEERLEADING, DANCE, GYMNASTICS EXPERIENCE PREFERRED).
DECAY: (any, ageless, lead) a curious, easily-frightened undead-cat who serves as an advisor to
the zombie cheerleaders. Loyal to a tee. Or are they?
HOODIE: (any, any, minor) an average high school student in a hoodie. Easily freaked out.
PRINCIPAL EVERETT: (any, any, minor) the authority figure in charge of decision making at
the high school.
QUEEN OF SPIRIT: (any, any, minor) a heavenly embodiment of cheerleading.
BARBARA DARKTROUT: (female-identifying, 43, secondary) Brittany's casual, distant,
sort-of-mentor-like mother and devoted cheer-spirit. Leader of the vampiric Humanist Coven.
