Atlanta-based singer-songwriter and producer Zoie Simone has lyrics filled with beautiful imagery, heartbreak and love, with a reflective spiritual tone. She is an alternative R&B artist with indie elements and an alumna from The Berklee College of Music. Since her last debut in 2018 releasing “Lunar Year” on Soundcloud showcasing her earlier lo-fi background. Her influences include Frank Ocean, Sade, Snoh Aalegra, Clairo, and Marvin Gaye. She is currently incorporating many other genres emotionally into her modern-day music. She plans to release singles within this new year that cater to feminine Black love and heartbreak in many different ways and tempos all while amplifying the black experience in the music industry. She creates music that serves as a powerful emotional and spiritual release, inviting people to dance, laugh, cry, scream, or experience any emotive relief. Through her music, she aims to be a voice and message that Black women can relate to, making them feel heard and represented in both my music and life.
