Computer Basics

Ages 18 & up. Computer classes are designed for the beginning computer user.

September 10: Computer Basics - What's what? Discover the parts of a computer in this session.
September 17: Keyboard & Mouse - Gain an understanding of the right and left click, as well as using the mouse to scroll up and down on a page; then practice your new skills with fun exercise.
September 24: The Internet - Acquire the basics of Internet Service Providers and their types of service connections such as Routers, Modems, Cable, and Wifi. You will learn the different Internet browsers available for searching the World Wide Web.
October 1: Working with folders & files - Learn the basic of working with folders & files.
October 8: Microsoft Word Intro - Get an overview of Microsoft Word and create a MS Word document.
October 15: More with Microsoft Word - Learn the formatting a Word document.
